Yesterday was Malaysia's day.. Everyone was happy celebrating, it was the day everyone gathered to honour our heroes who fought for our country.. But it wasn't for me.. It was the day I lost someone whom I've spent my 22 years with, my beloved brother Sean..
He got involved in an accident while he was driving his super bike at Kuala Penyu road.. I don't know how it happened and what the story was about. I only remember how painful it was waiting for my parents' phone call to confirm the news.. Meanwhile, everyone prayed for him hoping that he was still alive. Here, I really thank all my friends, pastors, cell groups and leaders that prayed for him and encouraging me, calling me or messaging me to stay strong, from the bottom of my heart..
But i encountered God's presence.. While my parents were on the way to see him in Kuala Penyu Hospital, news said he already passed away.. But mum told me not to give up yet till they see his body.. When my parents arrived, she touched his body and it was still warm, even after 4 hours! There was a slight chance and so Dad yelled his name and kept pressing his heart, he was still unconscious but there was heart beat and shallow breathing.. But, things were not as good as i hoped for, he passed away at the end..
I was angry and I didn't know what to do.. But my bf and a friend told me, at least he waited for my parents to be by his side before he left us.. He was not alone at his very last breath, he had mum and dad to accompany him. And he died doing something he really love..
Yes, the feeling was very unreal, very vague.. I still cant accept that he's gone.. But I know for sure, he is in a better place now.. Kor, I promise to be strong, to take care of mum and dad, and shan shan.. May you rest in peace. You're forever my brother.. You're in a different world now but you're still in our thoughts.. I love you Kor..
Guess what Kor? We heard alot of good things about you from your friends.. They told us all the good deeds you had done for them.. It was good listening to all these comments about you. So many of your friends turned up at your last journey on Earth. I really hope you are free and happy where ever you are now.. Do give us some dreams to tell us about yourself okay? I miss you already..

Hi Joanna here! WAIT...!

JOANNA?!

You may be wondering what in the world is this woman doing on Sam's blog.

Sam just downloaded Blogger on her phone and I'm merely doing her the favour of writing her first mobile blog. We're currently bored out of our wits waiting for her car to be serviced so I'm just killing time by 'invading' her blog space.

That's all for now. Shall invade again some other time! Toodles!

Before I talk about relavant things related to the title above, I have a reason for blogging at this hour. It's my 4th day of posting in Taiping Hospital in Perak. Hospital settings, doctors, nurses and people in Taiping are really nice but there's nothing much to do here. I am bored of staying in the hotel room the whole time (excluding times in hospital and for meals). So I decided to blog. Meeeh...
So here are some food, mainly from Penang and 1 or 2 from Kota Kinabalu. =) Enjoy!

 Steam Chicken
From Hot Bowl Nyonya Delight, AbuSiti Road, Penang
This is 1 of the best chicken I've eaten so far.
It is very soft and tasty.

 White Curry
From Hot Bowl Nyonya Delight, AbuSiti Road, Penang
It is very unique cos you can put your own amount of sambal into
it or you can choose to eat it without sambal
to taste the original flavour.
I personally prefer without sambal.

Hot Stone Rice
From Kim Gary (Gurney branch)
It is similar to the Korean bibimbap.

Deep Fried Mantis Shrimp
From Anson Park Restaurant, Penang
It is really good. Honestly, I have never tried before
this, so I can't tell whether this is the best.

Chicken Teriyaki + Japanese mushrooms
From Sakae Sushi (1st Avenue branch)

Corn Shave Ice
From Black Ball (1st Avenue branch)
Very special and cute combination.
A taiwanese dessert.

Pork Brain soup
From a restaurant in Hilltop, Kota Kinabalu.
Drinking the soup itself is delicious but tasting the
brain is a bit yucky. I can't take the texture of the brain.
But it is good to give it a try.

Tamparuli mee
From Kedai Kopi Kheng Swee Hing, Tamparuli, Sabah
It is a must try fried noodle in Sabah. It is delicious.
But non-local may find it ordinary or won't appreciate the taste as
much as Sabahans do.

Nyonya Prawn in Coconut
From Hai Boey Seafood Restaurant, Penang
It was not as good as it seems but it is very unique.

Thousand Island chicken
From Xuan Xin Restaurant, Gurney Plaza, Penang
Delicious. It has serai in it, smells and tastes really good.

Crab Porridge
From Xuan Xin Restaurant, Gurney Plaza, Penang
Was a bit disappointed with this. The picture in the menu was deceiving.
I can't taste the crab and the porridge was quite tasteless.

Blogging about these food in the middle of the night makes me hungry. I should go to sleep now. Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Well, I enjoyed blogging about it. =D

Good night everyone! <3 p="p">

Hi ya! These nail arts are done long long time ago. I got all the ideas from the nail art tutorial from YouTube (I'm not a creative person, sadly) It took me about an hour to finish each of the simple nail art.. I can't imagine doing a more complex nail art.. Brrrr... So here are some of the pictures.. Enjoy~! <3

This was my very first nail art =)

Dear Reader,

Hi ya! Its been a very very long time since I last updated my blog. The previous semester was extremely busy! Time flew even faster than a rocket for me. It was my last semester here in Dublin and I'll be heading home to Malaysia in Feb. I felt like it was just a few months ago that I just got here, can't believe that I have been here for 2.5 years already. O.O

Okay, cut the crap. This post is more of what I've been doing since new year. I've been studying, for my exams! ugh.. not happy with it. Felt  pretty stressed out this semester cos 2 out of 3 modules are new to us. Well, we learnt some basics and biochemistry in 1st year and that's it. AND, i forgot about all of them.. Oppss. =X So more effort is needed to study each lecture. Sometimes I really wonder, how am I gonna be a doctor? How am I gonna save lives? Oh my... How did the doctors remember all the things?! But there's few words which I think I'll remember for life. They're just too cute! Haha.. For example: pseudohypoparathryroidism, pseudopseudohypothyroidism, thymoma, Orphan Annie, etc. Don't be shock by all these terms! XD

I've been waiting to go home the moment January strikes in. I miss my home so much! My family, my friend AND not to forget, THE FOOD!!!!! How can someone not miss Malaysian food huh. Plus, I'll be studying in the food heaven, Penang! I hope I won't gain too much weight. Heehee.

Finally, exam has ended last week. I felt like my shoulder is so light and free now! But next thing to worry, results. =/ I'm really worried about 1 of the forensics questions. All thanks to my lousy English. =( I did not understand the word, so I wrote about the wrong thing. Ugh.. Dear God, please help me. *fingers crossed*

First day of holiday was really awesome! But, I'm feeling very bored now. I just can't sit still at home in front of the lap top for the whole day. I got so frustrated watching drama the whole day! This is part of the reason why I started blogging again. XD I wonder how am I gonna utilize my 2.5 weeks of boredom. Family coming on 9th of Feb. Yay! And then I'll be travelling around UK! Wheeee~!! Can't wait.

I think that's about it for now. =D

Thanks for dropping by! <3

Happy 7th birthday Joey Boi!!!!!!

I still remember the first day when you came into our family! You were so small and timid, afraid of everyone in the house. Oh well, can't blame you! To you, it was a sudden changed of environment and people around you. Heehee..

We left you in the cage, alone downstairs on your first night. I heard you barking so loudly. Went downstairs and saw your tiny head got stuck on the hole.. I know you were trying to escape aight! ;) Then I brought you to sleep in my room and since then you never wanna sleep alone downstairs again! hmmph!!

We celebrated your birthday every year with a cupcake and a candle. You always got so excited and did not wait for us to finish singing the birthday song for you! I remember there was once you caught the fire on your hair but still, you were hungrily rushing to get the cupcake.. =.= Greedy boy, you're still the same every year, get so hyper when you see the cupcake.. =DD

Once again, Happy 7th birthday my love! Wish I am home. =') I miss you

Love, Samiee

Hi Ya Bloggee! This is actually one of my favourite dishes in Malaysia. I can never get bored of it! =D
I was craving for this the other day, but since I am in Dublin, where on Earth can I get this aight? So I decided to give it a try. I imagined what's inside it, then I went to the grocery store to get everything. =) I think it tasted alright/edible so I decided to share with you!

Here's what you will need:
For the Hor Fun
1. Hor fun (depending on how much you wanna eat)
2. Soy Sauce (Light and dark)
For the Sauce/Soup
1.Garlic (1/2 head = around 5-6 cloves)
2. Diced pork (Again, depending on how much you eat)
3. Chinese Cabbage
4. Water
5. Light Soy Sauce
6. Cornflour + a bit of water (you need quite a lot to thicken it)
7. 1-2 egg ( Depending on how eggy you want it to taste)
P/S: you can also marinate the pork with some cornflour and light soy sauce to make it more tender)

So, let's start cooking now!
1. Boil and soften the Hor Fun. It should take bout 2-3 minutes
2. Heat some oil in the frying pan
3. Bring your hor fun to fry it. Add some light and dark soy sauce to give the taste and colour. Fry till you get the 'burnt' smell if you're using fire (For me, we use electric stove so I can never get that smell)
4. Dish out the hor fun

We're gonna do the sauce now!
1. Heat some oil in the frying pan
2. Add in and fry the garlic till golden brown
3. Add in the pork and fry it till its completely cook (Do not leave it for too long cos you don't want it to be stiff)
4. Add in the chinese cabbage and fry till they're softer
5. Add in 1.5 bowl of water
6. Add in the light soy sauce according to your own taste
7. When the soup is boiling, add in the cornflour mixture and stir it evenly till it thickens
8. Finally, add in the egg (s) and stir constantly to make sure the egg yolk breaks as well

Taa-Daaaaa~!! Your Wat Tan Ho is done!!!

Bon Appetit!
P/S: I cook according to feelings, therefore, if you realize, I didn't state how much of everything you need. Ooppssy... >.< But I hope you'll still like it!

Here's  a picture of my Wat Tan Ho (not presentable though) Heeeheee

SHEREEN WONG KWAN YEE!!!!!

First of all, I would like to wish you a very very very Happy 21st Birthday!!!!! Ahhhhh!!! Im super happy for you on this very special day of yours!!! =DDD

You're my best friend (S-sister) since 14/15 years old!! Then we became part of the AS2H and also the Bak Kut Teh Gang! Time flies! We're friends for 6 or 7 years now! We have been celebrating our birthdays together since then, until I leave for A-levels in KL! ='( BUT, one this I can reassure you is that my heart is always with you, even today! =')

On this day, I would like to dedicate a post for you!

You're always the charming girl in our group! And also the one with a strong character. When you take part in something, or in charge of something, you'll put all your best effort to complete it. You're the listener in our group. When we were talking about something, you never really answer, It seemed like you were not listening, but I know, you heard everything! Hehe.. You are always the slowest one to laugh when ever we were telling funny stories or what ever that is funny. The rest of us paused when you laugh, and then we laughed together due to your 'lag in laugh' Hahahaha.....

You're a sports girl too! I've never seen before, I know you're good in playing badminton. And now, FRISBEE!!! This is your favourite sports for now isn't it? Seeing all your FB status about your ULTIMATE, all the pictures.. Hehe.. Glad you're having fun there!

I think I should not continue on with the post, it'll be too long! =D

Once again, HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY my S-sister, my BFF!!
Love,
Samiee

Hi there everyone! This post is just to introduce Eric & my Tumblr. We decided to create a place where we can write and remember all our memories. I had this idea when I was saw a friend of mine updating her pregnancy and the baby on Tumblr. So i guess Eric & I can start too? Well, I guess its never too late to remember each and every memory we create starting from now on?

To me, 7 years is not only a figure. It is not short at all. In these 7 years, we've gone through so much, ups and downs, joy and sorrow, laughter and cry, etc. Our bonding just got stronger and stronger each day! There's more to come! =D

I Love you b!

So here is our Tumblr:  Eric & Samantha

P/S: Because I created in less than a week ago, there isn't much post yet. But do come back do check out new posts! Appreciate all your time reading our love story! ❤

Yes, there is reason behind all the things that happen in our lives. Its up to you whether to believe it or not. But, being a Christian, I believe God has a reason behind all things that happen.

When something happens to someone, the normal respond is: Why me? Why did this happen to me? What did I do wrong that I deserve this? My life sucks. Correct? I am one of them. Most of the time, I don't see why something bad happen to me but nothing happens to other people. Well, I realized that it was because I didn't see the bad thing that happen to them. In their heart, they'll probably think of the same thing as I do.

There were a few times where I didn't get what I longed for, instead, my friends got it without hoping for anything. I question God sometimes: what???? Why did they get what I wanted and I didn't get it at all? Are you kidding me??? You know I've been wanting this so badly! After some time later, guess what? I get something better than what I've wanted! So, I guess God didn't want me to get what I wanted cos he has a better plan for me? Praise the Lord! =D

Other than 'reason behind all things', it is TIMING... Sometimes, all you need to do is just wait and pray. Have faith in God. He knows what is good and what is bad for you. There was once, (not too appropriate to state what happened) I was so miserable about this thing that happened to me. I felt like there's no way I can go through this. There's no way out. All the negative thoughts flooded into my mind. I was about to give up. My mum ask me to pray and wait for good outcome. The first few times I prayed to God, asking him to do a miracle on me. Let everything be okay. Everything will be just fine. I didn't really think it'll work. Cos to me, it really felt like its impossible there's a way out to this matter. But I continued to pray and have faith in God. Taadaaaaa.. After waiting waiting and waiting for a very long time, a miracle, really happened! There's finally a way out! God showed me that everything is possible. He was just waiting for the right time to show me! Joy was rushing throughout my body. It was such a comfort from God, he heard my prayers! <3

After all these miracle I've received, I know, God has plan for each and everyone of us. Don't blame him when something bad happen to you. Instead, ask him for guidance, ask him to lead you to the right way.

He has a reason, and he's waiting for the right timing for everything!

Yes, I know I'm suppose to be studying HARD for my exams now. Its next Wed! Oh gosh and there's still so much more to read! All the things I've read, I wonder they actually went into my brain and store it there.. I wish I can search my brain like I search for files in the lap top or google where I can just pour out everything that I've studied. =/

So, here are the things that I want to do after the exams / during summer (and also RIGHT after the exam!):
1. Cut my front hair --> BANGS *yes, bangs! first time in my life!
2. Bring Edbert around Dublin..
3. Plan for our summer trip and also packing (oh yeaaaa... Spain, Portugal, France here we come! )
4. Korean drama marathon
5. Portsmouth
6. Electives
7. Do some recordings with Joanna, maybe?
8. Gym Gym Gym!!!!
9. Choreograph a dance with Joanna, yes her again. Teehee
10. Upload all the photos (birthday, holidays, random, etc, etc)
11. Sleep overs + talk + movies
12. Do something Crazeeeeee....

These are the things in my mind so far.. I'm sure there'll be more coming out when I'm studying. teehee.. n_n''''

Off I go, back to my notes z.z

Congratulations to Prince William and Princess Kate!!! May God bless their marriage! <3

Ahhh... Don't you wish you're Kate? A commoner marrying a Prince. Its like a dream come true for her! She has been waiting for sooo many years, the day is finally here! I'm sure she was very very excited and can't wait to say 'YES I DO!'  Their marriage is like those fairy tale which we grew up with. The Prince waiting for his Princess, seeing his beautiful Princess walking into the church. Sitting in a horse carriage and waving to all the citizens. Awwww... Cinderella... =') Just that she did not wear a glass heels and Prince William did not wear it for her. Teehee.. But everything was good enough..

Wasn't satisfied with the kiss though. Waited sooo long just for the kiss and they only kissed twice.. N lasted for only a sec. D= Thank goodness I managed to print screen to capture and witness the magical kiss. =D

Here are 2 pics of the Royal Wedding. Did not think of capturing during the wedding ceremony in the church. =)
